Email addresses from people who subscribe to our updates. Submissions sent through our forms — rate reports, agency listings and corrections. Standard server logs.

To send the updates you asked for, to verify and moderate submissions, and to keep the site running.

We do not sell, rent or share your email address with staffing agencies, advertisers or any third party. We do not use your submission to a rate or listing form as a reason to email you marketing.

If you subscribe to our emails and also submit a rate report, we do not link the two. Rate reports are aggregated, never published as one physician’s figure, and we do not cross-reference subscriber addresses against submissions for any purpose, including analytics. This is enforced in how the data is stored, not only by policy. Use whichever address you prefer for either; a personal one is fine and is what most people use.

Subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe, then marked unsubscribed and retained only to ensure we don’t email you again. Form submissions are retained per our editorial standards.
